Did you like Christine Daae in any of the Phantom works? Discuss here.
I liked Christine's character. She was timid and shy and became a well known person in the media. Even though she was portrayed in the media as 'sleeping with the Vicomte', she kept her innocence and purity.

Yes. Emmy Rossum did have an amazing voice. But one thing I can't stand about Christine is how naive she is, and she doesn't have a backbone (not literally). Everyone turns Christine into a strong person with common sense. i mean, c'mon, If someguy was living in my mirror, I would demand a different room and have the man arrested. I know, that would ruion the plot line, but I mean, it makes sense right?

I agree with you rubyredrose. But you have to remember, here character is supposed to be young, if I'm thinking right about 20ish (don't quote me, lol). Also, she had never really known her mother and her father had died while she was young. I think it's like her to cling onto somone like Erik because she has felt worthless for years. No one 'wants' her so she lives in an Opera House. Until one day Erik decided to love her and you know what happened...
And one more thing, women during this time were raised to be naive and adhere to their husbands needs.

True, but I mean think about a certain little ballet rat: Meg! She wouldn't stand for a man she never met living in her mirror and kidnapping her. She would probably kick him and use the "NOT MY FATHER" tecnique.
And another thing, Christine didn't find it the least bit creepy that he was LIVING IN HER MIRROR.
