What did you think of Erik or The Phantom in any of the Phantom works? Discuss here.
I loved Erik in all three. It amazing to see the difference between his character in the book verses the movie and play. He was a good guardian and father figure to Christine, none the less, in all three.

Ah, Erik!
He has always been my favourite. Especially when I saw Gerry and heard Michael.
He's my favourite in everything, but I especially loved him in Susuan Kay's Phantom, if that even counts in here. I know I've said this many times, but also in Point of No Return, Gerry is amazing. His passion plus teh pants equals verrah happy Sam.

AH! I absolutely love Erik's character. Almost rivals my goddessly powers. I mean what not to like? Everything about him is defined, sensual, and . . . amagical! I think other than the deformity and the anger managment problems he's great. I looooovvvve Erik. My favorite version of him is Michael, or Kerik. ^_^

Erik is a complicated character. He is very childish and sadistic, but also very intelligent. I love Gerik. I could not stand Kerik (Erik/Christine is NOT my faveorite pair. Nor do I like the idea of Erik being an addict to ANYTHING). Michael was okay but he just sounded to... patient.
No offense nessarose, but I disagree with what you said about "other than the deformity and anger management issues.... he's great!" The deformity I can live with, but with the anger manegment issues, I couldn't live with that. He's to tempermental and obbssesive for my taste.

He really didn't have this andger issuesin the extreme sense that he has, until Christine came into his life.

Okay? I think he always had it I mean, Erik was neglected and beat up his entire life. I'd be angry too.
